Say Goodbye to Web Server Bottlenecks with Jade Direct REST and SOAP
In modern cloud architectures, IIS and Apache Web Server are common bottlenecks for scaling and load-balancing requests. With our upcoming Direct REST and Direct SOAP features, you will no longer need to install or configure a web server to manage HTTP/HTTPS traffic between a Jade application and external HTTP-compliant applications (such as REST clients, web browsers, reverse proxies, web servers, or TLS termination servers). However, users may still choose to use these as reverse proxies if needed.
This new functionality also introduces support for the legacy HTTP/1.1 communication protocol in Jade REST and SOAP applications. As a result, Jade Direct REST and SOAP applications can communicate directly with other HTTP-compliant applications without relying on IIS or Apache.
These features, set to launch with our next major release, Jade 2025, arriving mid-year, provide greater flexibility in deploying Jade REST and SOAP applications while reducing the system requirements for their development.
Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the release date!
